All you need is FAITH

Daily Devotionals

Joyce Meyer…

Wow… tests in life! Such truth we face them if not daily, minute by minute. We are bound to come across a test that God feels we need to have come across… or even encounter for our growth.

“Life is filled with challenges that test our determination and our faith in God. Whether we’re faced with the impending threat of evil or with everyday hassles, the quality of our character is sure to be tested on a regular basis.” – Joyce Meyer

We all have a choice and we are responsible for our actions. Daily life is a constant andnits going to happen, good and bad, ups and downs. Their going to evolve in our day and in our journey with God. Stay in the Word. Stay focused. And know who has control.

Hillary Scott…

A grave…. seems somfinal to some …But is it so??? If we are a child of God, this is no where near the end, for our body, yes, for we are just flesh here on earth, but we have a soul that is made of so much more. We are eternal souls, waiting for our Heavenly living to be done.

“Paul’s contentment in both life and death is rooted in the truth that this life is not all there is for those who are in Christ. He writes in 1 Corinthians, “But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown” (1 Cor. 15:51-52).” – Hillary Scott

One day the trumpet will blow, and we will vanish, in the blink of an eye, *snap* we will be gone and no trace left of us except what worldly “treasures” we have left behind. You see, everything we have here on earth, is stuff, we can’t take this with us, we can’t move this to a new home once we move to our eternal place in Heaven… yes we can give it to our children or our family members, but eventually along the way, not everyone will feel the same way about a piece of paper, or a pot for tea, precious jewelry, china, etc. Along the way it will only be seen as stuff by someone else, that is getting in the way… your true treasure is knowledge and wisdom of the one true Father and His Word! Take that and share that along he way for others to embrace for themselves!!

Rick Warren…

Fear… it can be crippling. Mentally. Physically. Emotionally. Exhausting. Don’t let fear keep you from being or doing what God has you set out to do. He has your back. God is like having a huge family, he will see you through and watch over you. Will we fall and get hurt, occasionally, we still have a lesson to learn. Like riding a bike, our parents had to eventually let go and see what we could do on our own and see where we needed help, right? What do you think God does? He will watch over you, but we also make choices that can lead us down our own paths and sometimes that takes away from his control in our lives…. makes it hard for him to pull the reigns if we constantly keep playing tag and letting Him know what we can and can’t handle and keep trying to do it all on our own…. no more fear.

Let Go and Let God!

“The antidote to fear is the truth that you’re no longer a slave but a child of God. Being a child of God changes everything. You’re part of a family now. And families take care of one another.” – Rick Warren
