All you need is FAITH

Daily Devotionals 10/20

on October 21, 2016

In times of trouble… weather you feel God is near of far, friend, I want you to know he hasn’t left you or abandoned you, He hasn’t forsaken you, He hasn’t turned his eyes away from you and He’s not ignoring you. He’s constantly watching, waiting, and standing before you and at your side. So, in the days you feel he’s left, remind yourself just how close he really is, like a wind blowing, he’s encircling you. Talk and He will listen. Tears rolling, He’s on bended knee listening to the tears stream down your face and listening to your thoughts as your crying and upset. Mad, he’s holding onto your shoulder and taking note of all your anxiety. But don’t stay there for long, find that joy he wants you to have because He is near and He longs for your happiness!

“This characteristic of God is defined as being omnipresent. It’s a big Bible word we can add to our vocabulary and retrieve when abandonment issues tiptoe into our thought life. Turn the corner of this page down and put a large star by this sentence: Omnipresent means always present; everywhere at the same time. Now, when you feel abandoned, remember to come back here and remind yourself that God is constantly, forever, eternally with you.” – Wendy Pope

Waiting well….

“We know we’re waiting well when we truly experience peace in God’s pauses and plans. The peace is demonstrated in the resting of our thoughts and actions. Our real focus becomes a deep and abiding relationship with the Person of our faith, rather than manipulating our circumstances to receive the object of our wait. David waited well by focusing on God, not the problems, the people, or the palace.” – Wendy Pope

Let Go and Let God….

Why is it so hard for us to just let go and what is harboring us and allow the Father to take over? Why done have to maintain so much control over everything, as if we have true control over our life and how it’s going to take place? So much of the time we could have been further in our adventure into life if only we had listened to the Father and allowed him COMPLETE control….upon reading my devotional, I haven’t thought of this before, but a “wilderness mentality?” What is that?

Read 👇🏻

“The Israelites wandered around in the wilderness for forty years to make what was actually an eleven-day journey. Why? Once, as I pondered this situation, the Lord said to me, “The Israelites couldn’t move on because they had a wilderness mentality.” The Israelites had no positive vision for their lives, no dreams. They needed to let go of that mentality and trust God.” – Joyce Meyer

We have GOT to look forward and focus on what God has for us, and what he will do for us! Positive outlook, that’s what we need to do and have and read His word and see he has told us 365 TIMES, DO NOT BE AFRAID!

Don’t give up!

God tests us… repeatedly…. finances, attitude, and anyway you can think….

A situation can blindside you and make you want to quit…. don’t let anyone or anything get you to quit, this is not getting you to a place where you need to be …. what about quitting will make things easier?

“The difference between faithful people and unfaithful people is unfaithful people give up at the first sign of difficulty. Faithful people keep on keeping on. Faithful people are determined. Faithful people are diligent. Faithful people are persistent. Faithful people don’t know how to quit. You know how a little acorn becomes an oak tree? An oak tree is just an acorn that refused to give up.” – Rick Warren

Stand firm in your faith!

“God is more interested in what you’re becoming than what’s happening to you. He often allows trials, troubles, tribulations, and problems in your life to teach you diligence, determination, and character. The problem you’re going through right now? It’s a test of your faithfulness. Will you continue to serve God even when life stinks?” – Rick Warren
