All you need is FAITH

Daily Devotionals 10/31

Happy Boo day! 👻

#Struggles

Devices… they have made our life so much easier, right? Day to day, texting, tweeting, Facebook, sending pictures to friends all over as or posting so that MANY friends can see without having to send them individually… but something is missing, something has taken over, something has made it difficult to “move on.”

“We love technology and all it offers. But we also hate it. We hate our dependence on it and how it causes us to get out of balance with what matters most to us.” – Unknown(devotional)

We have become a self consumed nation… selfishness = sin my friend would say and she’s right!

We’re consumed with ourselves and how we look, our “like” status on a  picture /post, the comments of how we look and even how people see our family…. we have become self-consumed with how we look, not how our Heavenly Father is looked upon! We glorify ourselves, not the fact that the REASON we have what we have is because of HIM

Can I get an amen?

Focus on our creator and not on a man made creation…. focus on His Word and Not words on social media…. don’t let anyone or anything distract you from the truth, that God loves you so much and he has much to offer you, you only have to be looking…. and it’s not on your smartphone!

Faithfulness

“God is faithful because when He says He will do something, you can trust that He will do it. A faithful person is someone that can be trusted by their parents, friends, and by God. Discussion Point: What great responsibilities can God put you in charge of when He trusts you?” Unknown (devotional)

Trust… can He trust that you’ll do what you say? I think often times we TRY to do our best and follow through. I mean, we are human! To say we’re going to do it 100% of the time isn’t even something obtainable, so why put yourself out there? I can trust that if I needed my parents, they would be there for me and do everything in their power to help me! I trust my husband will stand up for me…. but we as humans have to understand we will falter and make mistakes….

God will always be there for us! He will always follow through! He will always love us, no matter what! We’re his children!

Potential, develop and do!

We all have a God given potential, and weather we’re doing something about it or just sitting around waiting could be the key to weather it’s going to be around when we need it… We have to move, be ready, be mobile! Step out and have Faith that He will guide you and no matter what, failure doesn’t mean anything, other than you TRIED! You won’t know your full potential unless you’re willing to step out and try!

“Don’t be so afraid of failing that you never take a chance. Don’t stay in the safety zone. You may feel safe, but you will never succeed at developing your full potential or being fulfilled in what you are doing. Step out into what you feel God is leading you to do, and you will soon discover what you can and cannot do. ” – Joyce Meyer
