Election evening…. only God will have this in His hands, no matter who is elected! 🇺🇸

“The Prayer Warrior”

I remember one time, I couldn’t function, I couldn’t move, I couldn’t even think straight…. but I was coherent enough to know I needed God and in a major way. I wasn’t ok, menatally, physically, emotionally and understanding how to withstand this sort of pain, I had no experience nor did I know who to talk to, or who to reach out to! Even if I was to try and drag out some verbal words to a friend, I don’t think I THEY would have been able to understand my mutter or sniffling words, or could have even called them that. It was intense pain…. and then when I called out to Him, it was like I was summoned to another place, I felt like I was out of my own body and I wasn’t even “here.”  I was so quiet, and my parent would talk to me and I wouldn’t even respond…. now what I remember and if what truly happened, happened, if God allowed that moment experienced was exceptional. I couldn’t have “imagined” something as grand as that nor spoke to the people I did…. maybe it was a dream?

I don’t think so… I think God saw my pain, He felt my pain, He held me! He took me to the highest point I could go to and get the comfort unneeded, even if only temporarily…..

It was a much needed answered prayer and helped me heal to be able to be beside my best friend in her time of need and other friends…. God has a special place for us all, and I highly believe that day, that experience, wasn’t just my imagination, it was something God did for me, He allowed me so that I could heal and help others in my journey! Isn’t that what we’re here for? Healing? Helping?
So… to digress.. do I remember my exact prayer that day to God during my deep trial? No… but whatever words finally stumbled out, whatever sheer small squeak He heard, he must have heard “help me.” And so He did…. I am forever so grateful!

“How often do we forget to run to the Lord and pursue His heart in prayer? Nothing is too small. Nothing is too big. He wants all of us. Don’t have the words? That’s okay. You don’t need perfect words. All you really need to do is come to Him, and He will translate your tears into words that His heart knows well.”
Romans 8:26 says: “And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.”

Getting What You Don’t Deserve

Don’t let your works and Gods Devine gift confuse you. Gods mercy for us each and everyday, it’s a GIFT! Thinking that our good works are going to win God over, no, no it’s not. He doesn’t care how “nice” we were today, if yesterday we said his name in vain and didn’t repent. We’re human, we’re going to fail, that’s inevitable. We’re selfish, we’re sinners. But we’re His children and we’ve been loved, are loved and are accepted by Him! Don’t worry about this and that, its minor and its temporary!

We could never pay God or do enough work to do what He has afforded us, or given us, grace and love! It’s a gift and I am truly thankful he thinks I’m worth it!

Thank you, Father!

“I encourage you to open your heart and allow God’s grace to come into your life to help you in your everyday walk. Always remember that when you feel frustrated, it is because you are living by your own effort and need to get back into God’s grace by allowing Him to work through you. Learn to let God do you a favor. Give up trying to deserve God’s help, and let Him supply your every need.” – Joyce Meyer
