All you need is FAITH

Daily Devotional 12/03

on December 4, 2016

“Jesus’ characteristics are listed in His many names. God’s Son given to us is the God of peace, the God of power, the God of provision, and the God of purpose. He shall reign over all of the earth. A believer’s source of peace comes from God and the knowledge that we have been united with Him through Jesus Christ. We can call on the many Names of Jesus knowing and trusting that He has the power and the desire to be all things to us.”

Do you believe that God will supply your every need? That Jesus will have your back for you, in sitting at the right hand of his Father, God? Having faith leads to trusting in the Fathers plan for your life, here and now, is to trust in his design and plan! Instill the word in your life and you instill a power that is far greater than you’ll ever imagine! Far greater than well or could ever imagine in our time of need or greatest tribulation!

Increase your self acceptance

What do you think about yourself? Do the opinions of others change your perspective about yourself or how someone who loves you sees you? What about Gods love for you? What about the fact that Jesus died on the cross for us?

“Increase your self acceptance: 1) never speak negatively about yourself 2) Avoid comparing yourself to others 3) Let God determine your worth 4) Keep your flaws in perspective 5) Discover the true source of confidence.” – Joyce Meyer

So, this should help some at least to help you see how amazing YOU ARE! Yes, you, reading this post! See the TRUE you and not what someone has labeled, stamped, or how you feel because you endlessly compare yourself to this person, that person or someone didn’t have enough cooth to keep their unnecessary opinion to themselves! Do not become a slave to media and the filters on the camera… Let your beauty shine! We’re all beautiful (and handsome) how God made US!

Am I generous enough?

““I feel like I should be giving more to God. Jesus told the rich young ruler to sell all his possessions, give the money to the poor, and follow him. There are people who do give up everything for Jesus, but I own a house and two cars. Does that make me a weak and shallow Christian?””

What do you think? You know, it’s not always about having enough money, or an extra car, or unlimited this and that…. it’s about being ok to have enough and know that God has asked you to obedient with what you have and tithe as well as giving of your time or just showing love! I think that is pretty equal no matter what you’re able to do! We all have different situations in the home and what we can and can’t afford!
