All you need is FAITH

Daily Devotional 12/12

on December 13, 2016

Fleshly desires, they can linger even after being committed and being baptized and accepting Chris as your savior. A new wholesome way to your spirit, Holy Spirit and gathering of your new self and old self in battle learning the new ways! You’re excited, and yet, you’re like a toddler, walking for the first time or learning a new word, not quiet perfect, but overtime, give yourself a chance and watch your growth in the Lord come! What a beautiful experience!

“Isaiah prophesies and gives a vivid description of the painful fate of Jesus Christ on our behalf. His passion and innocent suffering was for all people. We have a great need for Jesus Christ. Without Christ, human nature will have us oppose God, will serve ourselves, and will turn on other people. However, God made a way for His creation to unite with Him and take away His wrath against sin – only through repentance and surrender to Jesus Christ.”

Take off the mask

Masks, while mysterious in nature, can hide he true us, the person we REALLY are and we try to portray someone else entirely. Why do we do this to ourselves? Why do we hide when we should be shining upon others and loving others? What makes us want to hide our vulnerability from others, even those near and dear to us?

Trust! 💁🏻

Faith! 🙏🏻

Hope! ☺️

Love! ❤️

All of these aspects are open to you and me, let God transform you. Inside out…. you’ll be blessed if you just give an inch, even something of a tiny seed…. don’t wear a mask hoping to find acceptance. You have BEEN FULLY ACCEPTED in Christ, and that’s ALL that matters!

“We need to realize that God loves us just the way we are right now, and His love for us will never diminish. Trust Him enough to take off your mask. You will find, as I have, that you are being changed, little by little, into the very image of your Lord.” – Joyce Meyer

Leaving a legacy…

Legacy… I pray to do just that, leave behind a foot print so to speak for my children, their children and so on… but how do we do this?

“Has it ever occurred to you that buying life insurance on your own life is one of the most selfless things you can do (assuming you don’t cash out of the policy for your own benefit while you’re still living)? All of your payments are investments in the future that will provide confidence of financial security to your heirs during your lifetime and actual financial security when you die. But you won’t see the money–they will.”

Investment… showing good faith, God willing, that whatever you have to invest wisely and work towards leaving behind something valuable, even if something that can’t be taken, it will leave financial assistance to someone other than yourself…. how amazing is that idea…. keeping someone else afloat, helping them and not leaving them in the dark!

If you don’t know what to invest in, pray! Ask for guidance so that you’re hard work and value will leave a legacy for the coming generation(s)! Good stewardship! God sees, knows and understands! Be faithful friend. Even taking a leap of faith….
