All you need is FAITH

Daily Devotional 12/13

on December 14, 2016

“Because of Jesus, we have the opportunity and the privilege to call Him our Father. God, because of His rich mercy and great love, even while we were in sin showered us full of mercy and drowned us in His love. Our God does nothing small. When God gives, He gives generously in abundance, overflowing, and never ending. Mercy is not getting what we deserve. It’s being in the wrong, yet not receiving the punishment we deserve. Mercy is something we desperately need from God, or we are utterly without hope. Mercy is the demonstration of God’s great love for us.”

2 answers come into mind when we have what we need or we’re blessed or even to say we’ve been given a second chance at life after we have accepted an ultimate freedom of love, grace and continual mercy, we have been forgiven and made clean, due to sacrificial love! Not just one party, but two! Jesus and His father, God! We have much because of God and we have eternal life because of Jesus! Our eternal may not be earthly, but I am certain Heavenly life we’re going to see and be brought into is going to be amazing! Spectacular! Just what it is, Heavenly! ❤️

How do we obtain this? Professing our love, accept Christ as our savior and digging into His word! It’s not complicated, but it can lead to trials and tribulations we wouldn’t expect. Not everyone will see what you see or understand what you understand… the right path isn’t always an easy one. Would you agree?

Receiving the Power of God Through Prayer

Prayer is special. Between you and the creator and his son! What can be more momentous than that? Even Jesus prayed when he needed guidance and answers. What better way for following than to see Gods own son bowing down to pray for strength, guidance, power, Etc? We are more prone to follow an example than we are to lead immediately… God gave our greatest examples and they weren’t all peaches and cream! We have many people in the Bible that didn’t follow through well, but they sure knew how to repent and ask for forgiveness and understood humbleness! Be led, and then lead!

“Prayer is so powerful because it joins the hearts of people on earth with the heart of God in heaven. When we pray, we connect with God, and He affects our daily lives beyond our comprehension. Only God’s power can bring peace, instill joy, grant wisdom, impart a sense of value and purpose to a person who doesn’t know what to do in life, and work every kind of miracle.” – Joyce Meyer

Why, God?

Job didn’t have an easy life, but he was blessed!

“Job speaks for all of us when in his weaker moments he complained to God about the bitter unfairness of the way his life was turning out. Job cried out what we cry out when we are frustrated, hurting, and confused: “Why, God? Oh, that I had someone to hear me!” When Satan tempts us to doubt God’s intelligence and management ability, let us recall that he carved the Grand Canyon, arranged the Himalayas, froze water into glaciers, and built the oxygen-rich atmosphere without any advice from us. Job’s life turned out okay. We’ll be okay. God is good at what he does.”

In our weak moments, we can be made strong! We just have to ask but also understand that strength isn’t a always what we need at the moment! Wisdom, love, tough love even. We arent always going to get an answer we want to hear either. Gods timing is perfect and yet we only always see a small portion of what we have in front of us, we don’t get the big picture because we wouldn’t follow through the way we need to…. I highly believe thatGods  wisdom is reigned upon us in a perfect time, perfect moment and situation!

We only need be still, wait, listen, continue to talk to Him and learn, even if he’s silent for the time being. You don’t always have to hear something to see that God is almighty and has a hand in your life always, do you? No, you don’t. He’s magnificent, what more do we need?

Don’t give up! Wait! Pray
