All you need is FAITH

Daily Devotional 12/27

on December 28, 2016

The day after Christmas wasn’t an easy one… we lost our other outside dog! I think he died of a broken heart! He was blind, and was barking and pacing almost all night looking for her, Cheyenne! I went to go and check on him, surely he was going to be ok. No, he wasn’t, wasn’t looking ok. I opened the door and made some noise… he didn’t budge. I just knew… I went out there and he was by where we buried Cheyenne…. he had died of a broken heart because nothing else made sense. He showed no signs of what my other dog had…. I can’t explain any of it and I felt horrible for my kids! Lost one dog and now the other…. *sigh*. Dear God…. I wait for the blessings to unfold because it seems day after day, it’s something new! …. update below of blessings!

                           ðŸ‘‡ðŸ»ðŸ‘‡ðŸ»ðŸ‘‡ðŸ»ðŸ‘‡ðŸ»ðŸ‘‡ðŸ»ðŸ‘‡ðŸ»

While not everything has gone according to our liking…. hubby was able to go to the victor today and the new insurance plan were getting is being accepted… and hubby went to eye doctor and thanks be to God, we had enough money and he’ll have some new glasses! Whew! Thank you God!

Abundance Is Not Our Point of Trust GOD’S ABUNDANCE

God will supply our every need, but I also believe we have to endure loss so that we understand what we’re gaining… would You agree?

God knows what we can and can’t handle and sometimes as any good parent, he may allow us to see what we can and can’t do… how will we be able to have control unless we speak to God about how to use this blessing!

“If the economy should dissolve tomorrow, God’s people would not be rendered inoperative, because God is our source. He can keep us through times of scarcity as well as in times of plenty. He fed Elijah by sending ravens to bring him food in the morning and evening (1 Kings 17:2–6). God can do that now. He is the same today as He was then.”

The Holy Scriptures and the Spirit of Prophecy PROPHECY

“Bible is prophetic: a Book that reveals God’s will through His Word and His works, as well as a Book that reveals God’s plans and predictions.”

No matter what, the Bible can give us more information than we can imagine! God and his word doesn’t change, we do, but we have to make sure that change is for the greater good!

Simplify your prayers

Heartfelt and simple prayers can mean more to God than a grand “show” for him... we don’t have to perform, we just have to invite him in to tour hearts and allow his presence to be with us during that time of prayer! We don’t have to make it hours on end, unless that’s necessary! But allowing our heart felt expression to God to come into play and let Him be aware of what we see, even thought he already knows!

“We have to beware of talking to impress ourselves when we’re praying. Sometimes I think we just want to sound eloquent. We want to impress God with our phrases and sound holy. But God just wants to have a little chat with us. He wants us to talk to Him like we would a friend, not with a different tone of voice. If we don’t speak Elizabethan English during the day, we don’t need to use it when we pray.” – Joyce Meyer

Draw close to Him

God lives in us through the Holy Spirit, so how else do you feel you could be closer? Only Spirit will NOT force a relationship with him, we have to WANT it! Daily bible reading? Talking to him? Praying to Him? He already knows your heart, but how precious he sees it that you’re willing to express any and all knowledge of your heart to him! Intense

“God created us for fellowship and He greatly desires relationship with us. He longs to talk to us, to listen to us, to teach us and guide us, simply to be a part of our lives. And we are the better for it! We are renewed when we fellowship with God. The benefits of spending time with the Father are endless.” – Joyce Meyer
