All you need is FAITH

Be the church – Living The New Life

Ephesians 4:17-24
11/12/17

Before we knew Christ we lived a certain way, after Jesus, we have began a new pathway in our lives! This is a new life, but old patterns or ways may try to creep in! Belief in our savior saves you, and this will give you a new life, not to say your old ways and tendencies are still there. You have a pre-Jesus life and you have a Jesus filled life, you have tendencies to go back to your old ways, and encouragement is there to resist and renew!

Big idea: Resist the old life and embrace the new

RESIST your natural tendencies (17-20)
A new life means new behavior. May not happen overnight or the next day. ALL patterns and behaviors take time to live according to God and the Holy Spirit. There is a way of life in this world that says “that’s how it’s done.” But Jesus says to read the Bible and not live as everyone else! “If so and so does it, doesn’t mean you have to do it or it’s appropriate.” Don’t behave like everyone else, there is something spiritually powerful and distinct about you, or should be! Go against the grain and follow what God says and through the Holy Spirit. Resistance. Doesn’t mean this will be easy, this is to be intentional. You’re not called to be alike someone else. Recognize the danger of living the old life and natural desires. Understand there is darkness in this to go back to old ways / your flesh.

RENEW your spiritual mind (21-24)

Remember what you’ve been taught about Jesus! Place this learning in your heart. Be a servant! Show love. Resist the natural flow around you. Live to enjoy the new life with Christ at your side. Your old life without Jesus is corrupt. Spiritual reality! To put off, to be renewed, to put on the new self. Past would be put off old self, put off old self and present would be to continue to renew your mind daily! As a child of God the first two should have been done, but renewal is a daily process to continue to repent daily as needed and Ask for forgiveness and keep asking for God to continue to assist in your growth and new ways in a new life! Continue to open your mind to God and what he has to say in our new lives and behaviors! To change these behaviors, we must ask God everyday, every moment, every minute to continue to allow Christ to lead you! Stop living according to the flesh! Renew! Daily! Our spiritual minds are powerful, what you think, what you tell yourself, your body and mind will believe. Open your thinking to The ways of God. Exposure to what is true for your mind, body and spirit to be aligned. Read, read, and more reading to ensure you’re being properly aligned by His word and His belief in you, through you. He believes in you and you should believe in yourself! Transform!

We all struggle daily! You’re not alone! Don’t isolate yourself, find someone to be apart of your journey to change!
Resist the old life and renew your mind! Open up for what God has in store for you! New life, new ways! Once you’re sealed with the Holy Spirit, you have a new life! The old is gone! The new is waiting to move forward!
Old ways are old ways, don’t fall short and allow that to take you over…. you’ll always be a daughter / son of God!

“Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity. But that is not the way you learned Christ!— assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”

– ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:17-24‬‬

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

– ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:8‬‬

Be the church – A Growing Church

Be the church – A Growing ChurchEphesians 4:1-16

11/05/17

Got a bible, read and have His words on your heart to be encouraged daily to be of Him through Him! God desires that we all improve in our spiritual growth. It’s the job of the church to bring the light to others.

Big idea: God wants our church to be healthy and growing.

What does it take to be a healthy, growing church?

Members who WHO WALK WORTHY OF THEIR CALLING (1-6)

Approach the gospel as a sinner, repent, ask for forgiveness. We have to recognize we need salvation. We know we’re unworthy, and yet His gift has been bestowed upon us with admitting and asking for God and his spirit in our life. If you have come to God, you are a son / daughter of the most high. Jesus has saved us and has paid for all our sins, last, present and future. Walk the walk of your calling. Don’t fall back into old ways, progress and move forward! Humility! Gentleness! Patience! Bearing in one another with love! Adopt these qualities! This is as the spirit works within us. If we’re divided, we can’t go as a church and do our part. No matter our differences, were all United! Maintain the unity of the spirit, submission to the Lord! Single passion, single purpose! My life should mimic the life of Jesus!

“Red, yellow, black and white, we are all precious in his sight.”

Members who EQUIP THEMSELVES FOR MINISTRY (7-12)

Grace was given to us as a measure of Christ’s gift. God has placed you in the body for a reason. We are to build up he body of Christ. We should be waking in our faith and plug in and find ourselves able to do what we’re asked, when we’re asked and follow through with the gifts he has given us! Are we using the gifts and abilities for church or for selfish purpose? Pastors equip and lead us to go and do good works! The purpose is not entertainment…. be sober minded and be watchful for the messages that will lead you to your purpose(s). Want entertainment, go to the movies! We’re here to be a ministry for family, church and community. Am I being equipped to do more and get busy to serve? Ministry = service, work.

Member who WORK TOGETHER IN LOVE (13-16)

There is a never ending lists of jobs to be done. Pray before you leave the house to ask for a service to be DONE BY YOU FOR SOMEONE! Don’t be child-like and be naive. Mature in the steadfast love of Christ and follow through with His plans for you and through you for the betterment of others. Allow growth! Each part, all parts, to work and increase in the body of your church to help and to aid for your church! Do what God has called us to do! You weren’t make to be isolated, to be alone! You need others for accountability and to help growth! Don’t fall prey to what Satan will say and do….

Are you fulfilling your role in helping this church grow?
“I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.” (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”

Seven deadly sins – gluttony

https://us.123rf.com/450wm/lculig/lculig1703/lculig170302886/74130970-glutton-word-cloud-concept-on-grey-background.jpg?ver=6
Fractured – Seven deadly sins
GLUTTONY – Luke 16:19-31

GLUTTONY – uncontrolled obsession with satisfying physical appetites

Big idea: GLUTTONY must be identified and destroyed

Be willing to look at yourself... Your faith in Jesus matters, once your life is over here on earth, its then too late.

* What does GLUTTONY look like?

We enjoy life and what it has to offer, but God didn’t mean for us to enjoy over a limitation to what our body can handle! Gluttony is a fixation to what is seen and that it has to be had. Food is good! God created food for our sustenance. But it wasn’t meant for over indulgence and “everyday ain’t your birthday.” Don’t not allow food, drink, etc to be as a fixations. God has bestowed upon us so much, bread, wine, food but it wasn’t meant to be worshipped or used EVERYDAY in excess! We have to be careful what we keep in our homes. I might have control right this moment, but I can’t predict later part of each and everyday. Our hearts are deceptive and wicked. Be watchful. We can’t handle our appetites. Focus on God and what is WISE for you and your body. Gluttony is an attitude and ignoring those around us.

* Why is GLUTTONY so dangerous?

A person can be so obsessed with physical appetite they neglect their spiritual need. Gluttony destroys the temple (your body) of God. Your house of God is the body you carry around. If you don’t do sons at church, why would you carry this throughout your day? God dwells here in our body, our temple, would you aid in destroying His? Self control is apart of being able…. gluttony destroys your appetite for God. (Matthew 5:6). Gluttony destroys our usefulness through God. There are

Ramifications, it can skew and harm my body and destroy my relationship with God and I focus on temporary instead of fulfilling life long for the glory of God. God can bless us and we should be willing to open it up to others. God blesses us to bless others.

* How can I destroy GLUTTONY?

Destroying gluttony isn’t easy, those appetites can be strong. We can lose focus and choose to see what we see by sight or use our spiritual eyes. Stay HUNGRY FOR GOD! God satisfies, stay hungry through Him! In the “heat” of the moment, it’s all good and wonderful and you feel great, but how did or will you feel later!? Listen to the small voice …. don’t allow gluttony to push you where you don’t want to be…. our appetites are so weak! Stay filled with the spirit… keep yourself full of righteousness and leave the gluttony to the side. Don’t over-do what your body DOESN’T NEED! Bring God the glory! Stay disciplined in the flesh. Step up and do the right thing! It’s not going to be easy, but pray over this everyday, moment by moment, embrace the struggle THROUGH Christ!
Find the fruit of the spirit – self-control! You can do this by keeping with Christ through you and in you. We all struggle with seven deadly sins! Pray for each other!

** Find a celebrate recovery to help you through your struggles! You’re not alone!
“”There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted SUMPTUOUSLY every day. And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores. The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried, and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.’ And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father’s house— for I have five brothers—so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’ But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.'””

– ‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:19-31‬‬
“You cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth and wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his face shine and bread to strengthen man’s heart.”

– ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭104:14-15‬‬
“”Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.”

– ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:13‬‬
“”Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”

– ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬‬
“But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.”

– ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭9:27‬‬
“And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

Valiant – Hubble

Valiant – HumblePsalm 62
6/4/17

Everyone makes mistakes, stumbles into sin! How will you make an impact on this sin that has been done? David was a man that made mistakes, but he was valiant. He worshipped God and that was a beginning to his journey through devotion to Him! Prepare your heart, through worship, and getting a relationship with God. How you’re responding is how your heart is connected to God and his ways! We wait on God! We are to be humble in our waiting – be humble in your wait and journey!

Humility is NOT a natural tendency for us! You’re not naturally humble. You’re more intended to be the total opposite without God and His power forged for us! Spiritual heroes can be humble, get done to your knees and ask God for help, wisdom and help in all aspects of your life!

Big idea: Valiant people are humble people
Humble people are TARGETED PEOPLE  (3-4)

Humility and meekness are seen as “weak.” Humble serve and love on people as Christ would do, no matter what we think or feel. Satan seeks humble people, and you will have a giant target on your back for others. No one said it would be easy to follow Jesus! If you’re not being attacked in your life spiritually, then is your walk with God really where you think it is? What the world sees as honorable or pleasureable, is.l not in line with Christ and his plan for us!

John 15:18-19 – see below (Being different of the world, is a sure prospect to bring hatred, be apart of the world, the world will love you. God’s love is GREATER than that of the world!). Don’t fret with the enemy attacks you. It’s apart of following our savior!

Humble people are RESOLUTE PEOPLE (1-2, 5-7)

Despite circumstances, push through, be valiant! Following Jesus can be difficult; are you back in away in fear or pushing forward and looking face first into that attack!? Don’t entrust man, armies, presidents or kings, they will falter! If their not Jesus, they are not worthy of ensuring your life. MY REFUGE IS GOD! GOD IS WORTHY OF OUR PRAISE AND UNDIVIDED ATTENTION! People aren’t going to make you happy always, they will let you down at some time or another! God deserves and needs your attention, you will then focus your life accordingly in what is worth. As humans, we doubt, but don’t lose faith in what you know to be true, Gods word and his promises! He will hold us!

Humble people are INSPIRATIONAL PEOPLE (8-12)

No matter who is watching, they do the right thing…. that is an inspirational person! David publicly showed a love for Christ by dancing and singing for His greatness, he inspires others! Live simply and humbly! No matter who you are or your worth or your status, we all die the same! We all have a date of expiration! God knows my worth! God wants to ensure we have what we NEED! No matter how much you have or don’t, God desires we inspire and humbly worship Him!
Challenge: live simple and humbly, inspire people to serve God sacrificially.
** Serve God to bring honor and glory to Him! Jesus was humble and meek, and look who He was and His father! You serve a greater purpose, be a hero for others and lead them in the right direction!
* Meekness is not weakness

* The truly valiant fight for others

“For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence? They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath. Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them. Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that POWER BELONGS TO GOD, and that to you, O LORD, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.”

– ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭62:1-12‬‬

“”If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”

– ‭‭John‬ ‭15:18-19‬‬

Brave – Faithful

Brave – Faithful
Ruth 1:15-18

Ruth 2:8-13
Definition of Bravery- “The demonstration of spiritual strength in her face of danger, fear or difficulty.”

More important than physical, financial, etc, is spiritual strength! The world is full of sin… can spiritual fortitude give the ability to change the world as it is!? In danger or fear, men and women should have faith acting out in spirituality. Not that we won’t have such anxiety, but finding our strength through Christ is our job, our responsibility!

This world puts an overwhelming pressure on the secular world on men, women, children, Christian’s! Being a child of God doesn’t mean you won’t have to deal with worldly endeavors… but we can bring on the battle that God will be victorious! Demonstrate a bravery!
Judges 21:25 – freedom without governing. There was “no” absolute law.

In Ruth, Naomi’s situation, widowed wife and mother, was through bad leadership! She was affected through no fault of her own aside being lead inappropriately! Her life was impacted because of distrust in the Lord!

God knows what we’re going through! He’s knows all! Nothing’s more important than your family’s spiritual development! We have an expectation to provide for our family….

God provides for His children! Don’t trust a paycheck for certainty in our lives!

Marry someone that is of equal yolk, your beliefs, or else this could affect your life and how it’s lead. God can work beyond anything we can imagine! Pursue Him!

God always has a plan!

Ruth’s decision to follow Naomi, it was spiritual act of bravery, through Jehovah. It would have been easier for her to go and live the way we used to live… that’s easy! Following and leading another lifestyle is more difficult….
Big idea: Brave people are faithful people.
A. SACRIFICE (1:15-18)

Willingness to give up everything you have known and support “comfort.” Ruth was convinced a true relationship with God was more compelling to follow than to go back to her “old ways.” It was a lot of unknown! What are you sacrificing for your faith? (Compelling conviction, what is that?)
B. TRUST 2:8-13

Trusting God for support and leading.. that’s what Ruth had to do. Ruth sacrificed, trusting, that God would provide. He provided!
‬‬”So she set out and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers, and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the clan of Elimelech.”

– ‭‭Ruth‬ ‭2:3

Why does God provide so generously? By trusting and sacrifice! Don’t worry about gain of something… unless God gives it to you!

God will honor your bravery, you just have to trust Him!
“And she said, “See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.” But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.” And when Naomi saw that she was determined to go with her, she said no more.”

– ‭‭Ruth‬ ‭1:15-18‬‬

“Then Boaz said to Ruth, “Now, listen, my daughter, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my young women. Let your eyes be on the field that they are reaping, and go after them. Have I not charged the young men not to touch you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink what the young men have drawn.” Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?” But Boaz answered her, “All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told to me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before. The Lord repay you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!” Then she said, “I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not one of your servants.””

– ‭‭Ruth‬ ‭2:8-13

Sacrificed- Palm Sunday

SacrificedJohn 19:28-30

4/9/17

Raised to Life

Today is Palm Sunday, our brothers and sisters came for service, and across this nation were dealt with death for their praise and worship to God, and his son Jesus! Freedom is why we’re able to love God and come to Him, but we are and will pay a price for this Freedom! We may not die, but we will succumb to ridicule and hatred from those that don’t even know us!

NOTHING surprises God! Jesus came was to die for our sins, this was in the part of obedience, the will of the Father, the plan! If Jesus can love us enough to die, how are we joy serving others and coming to others for other in Gods grace!

There was no unfinished plans from Jesus! He faced death in the face with nothing but words of grace and forgiveness! He looked at his accusers and asked his Father for forgiveness to these people! That is the LOVE of Jesus! He was compelled to walk in obedience! He was tortured, he carried his own cross, and was left by even those that love him! When Jesus died on the cross, it had been done, it was finished! This work was done and would proclaim eternity forever! Sin forever paid by Jesus with his one act of obedience by the wrath of God! All sins washed away white as snow, through the blood of Jesus! Amen!

Death is inevitable! Watching people we love die isn’t easy!

Big idea: Jesus COMPLETED what he was sent to do, bringing SALVATION to everyone who BELIEVES.

Jesus finished the work of SALVATION

Our sinful nature is going to happen, we will have consequences, but we are responsible for repentance through those sins! We have a sinful nature, we are children of wrath! We are taught to do right, not to do wrong because it is part of our nature! The world shows you happiness and there is nothing but despair when it’s not attached to a Godly way! We have been rescued! Jesus is leading us on a trajectory of Heaven! He sacrificed for us all! Salvation is through Jesus!

Receive the gift or REJECT IT
Have you allowed Christ to come into your life or have you surpassed what he has for you? There is one way to Him! Have you taken that path or have you walked away!?

“Jesus gave it all, all to him I owe!”
With his death on the cross, he delivered a gift to all of us, past, present and future! All you have to do is receive his gift!

“After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.” A jar full of sour wine stood there, so they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a hyssop branch and held it to his mouth. When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

– ‭‭John‬ ‭19:28-30‬‬
Don’t reject Christ! Come to Him!

Deliverance

Recently, it’s been a rough patch in my home and my near family. I have to admit, it’s been good and bad, and also, disturbing! I have seen anger in myself and hatred! For what reason!? Because it is hurting my family, those I love dearly!? Yes! BUT what am I doing to my family more so, I’m hurting then with all this negativity! I can’t allow my emotions to cloud what God has control over and has had control. Anytime that kind of reaction poses, we are allowing satan, the slave master, to come at us because we’re vulnerable and we might believe anything we hear in the corner of our mind… He’s sneaky and ready to attack.

We need deliverance! We need a powerful prayer!

I shared this tonight with my loved one and it’s so fitting, weather you’re a believer or not… this is powerful! Take a read!
DELIVERANCE <———- (Click for link)

 “Deliverance Prayer”

“Heavenly Father I come to you now in Jesus’ name, to repent of all the sins in my life and also in the lives of my ancestors, that may have resulted in a curse. I repent of all disobedience, rebellion, mistreatment of others, lying, cheating, using or slandering your name in vain. I repent of all perversion, lust, incest, fornication, adultery, idolatry, all witchcraft, murder, and any occult involvement.

Heavenly Father, I ask for your forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus I now take the authority you have given me and ask that you anoint me now as I command all demonic spirits of anger, rage, fear, depression, destruction, torment, guilt, bondage, vagabond, rejection, unforgiveness, bitterness, mind-control, double-mindedness, confusion, passivity, sickness, diseases, pain, fetter and all addictions to food, alcohol, drugs, sex, pornography, gambling, or nicotine to come out in the name of Jesus.

No demonic spirit is welcome in this holy temple!
I break all spoken curse and spells that may have been performed over my life and any curses resulting from involvement with Ouija board, Psychics, tarot cards, Horoscopes, secular music, or through TV, movies or pornography.
I break all curses off my family, marriage, children and relatives. I break every shackle, chain, cord, habit, craving, debt, soul-ties and any spirit that has tried to rob, kill, or destroy my life.

I command my family to be set free. I break every demonic assignment over my family. Satan, loose them now! In Jesus’ name! According to Galations 3:13, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I am now God’s child and through my Lord Jesus, I am able to cast down all demonic powers and spirits that come against me or in my family’s lives.

I am not cursed, but blessed! I am blessed coming in and blessed going out. I am above and not beneath. I am the head and not the tail. I am blessed and what God has blessed cannot be cursed. I am free, and I am saved. I have now exercised my faith and know that confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9,10). All of my sins have been remitted, and I am loosed from the curse that came as a result of disobedience and rebellion to the Word of God.

Thank you Heavenly Father, thank you Lord Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit for forgiving me and loving me. Thank you for setting me free from every curse and spirit that has operated in my life. Father God, I pray for discernment and for a new vision to help me recognize and resist all evil and all fleshly, worldly ways. I am anointed through the Lord Jesus Christ, and I thank you Jesus for your guidance and discipline as I continue to be a victorious soldier and holy child. AMEN.”

Devotional 2/09

You’re only accountable to God

You can’t fulfill your purpose and keep God happy if you’re constantly ensuring others happiness! At be end of our life, we will only have one judge, one individual that will determine weather we’ll go to Heaven or Hell!

Be daring… don’t follow the crowd! Lead your own path! Follow God and His word for YOUR life and HIS PURPOSE for your life!

Be intentional… are you the type of person that wait for something to happen or one that makes it happen!?

Don’t follow suit to the world or get distracted… act now…

“There are two kinds of people in the world: those who wait for something to happen and those who make things happen. God has called you to do great things for His Kingdom, don’t shy away from it. You need to be intentional. You need to live life on purpose. Don’t just wait around to see what everyone else is going to do and then follow the crowd. Stir yourself up, make a decision, and get going!” – Joyce Meyer
