1. Desperation + Warrior
Who would have thought you could have the two words in the same line, much less same sentence…. I wouldn’t!
Gods warrior and worlds view of a warrior are TWO DIFFERENT definitions! Let’s look at what the devotional said:
“The world’s warrior:
1. Work hard to get strong. 2. Use that strength to make things happen. 3. Put on a good/tough face, because appearances are everything.
God’s warrior:
1. Admit you are weak. 2. Open your hands and let Him provide. 3. Be vulnerable and desperate because He is close to the crushed in spirit.”
Wow! I can see a world warrior on a daily basis just in my work place…. what about you? Do you see some of the same characteristics weather it be worlds warrior or Gods Warrior? Hard to determine which might be “easier” of the two, eh? Where are you right now? Is this where you want to be?
Desperation isn’t always negative… we can be desperate for a new start, or finding a way out of something because we know it is what we need in our lives… and God has that for us! He is an almighty God! We just have to give over control, stop thinking we can do this alone! We can’t….
“God is near to the desperate.
God fills open and empty hands.
God displays His strength in our weakness.
God gives life.
God brings what is dead back to life. “
Trust God! Let Him help you! He will fight for you, you need only be still and have faith friend!

Fear Of Missing Out….
Do you fear that you’re missing out on something in life? Latest and greatest? How about through social media… last post didn’t get enough attention, not enough people liked your post, your blog, your picture, your opinions, your expression, or even what you did for the day!? Truth of the matter is not everyone is going to “comment, like, love, or otherwise” something you post… they may take a glance and pass by…. some don’t see your posts as intriguing because they start looking the same, blending with pages, looking like other people’s posts, or better yet, don’t agree with your political or religious views. So they shy away and don’t want to see what you see or even attempt to have an open mind… Do you fear this? Rejection?
Don’t miss out on what’s in FRONT OF YOU!
“What you really should be afraid of is missing out on the person in front of you. When you stay glued to your phone or tablet, that’s what you’re missing out on. You may be missing out on your children growing up. You may be missing out on enjoying an intimate marriage. You may be missing out on deep friendships filled with meaning. Your fear that you’re going to miss out on something may cause you to miss out on what matters most!”
Don’t miss out on opportunities to love on people and show them the true love of Jesus Christ that he has shown upon us …. and please understand not everyone is going to have the same opinion of Christ, and that’s ok, but for me, He’s the one I want to pursue and be like!
Others won’t know you by your likes.
They will know you by His love!
3. God isn’t glorified through OUR suffering…
Suffering, trials, tribulations, however you want to look at it, it’s inevitable. So, we can either be upset and mope, or we can have joy in our heart and push forward and present God fearing side of ourselves to the World! Show Satan that no matter what, we will God the glory! He deserves all the glory for what is good in our lives and the bad times, we still praise Him because He is fighting for US!

Don’t focus on anything but God! Keep your head high and not on the cracks of the ground…. remain confident knowing that God will fulfill your purpose and the plan He has for you! You’re a child of the almighty! Be armed in the right thinkng! Stay clear headed and be sure to it be tempted by what evil may have to say to you or even try to lay on your mind… you’re much too smart for that nonsense friend!
One word: VICTORY!
Don’t allow victory and victim to come in the same sentence…. you’re not a victim (not in spiritual battles of course) its apart of being a Christian. Have that understanding and you can and will withstand ANYTHING!
Praise be to God, for He is GOOD!
