Follow the ark
Life…
It can hand you a bag of sugar or some lemons, doesn’t always hand you both… so you work with what you have, you either learn to make pie or use those lemons to garnish something or flavor the water… I think too often we get caught up on the old way of life, how we have ALWAYS done something and don’t really follow through with new and exciting potentials! I am guilty! I fear rejection or what people think, well, most often, and other times I have this strut of “Hey, you over there, don’t care how you feel or what you think.” I can imagine that’s the devil hanging around and being a jerk… I have to consciously decide how I’m going to make my day weather someone is happy with me or not… I can’t allow them to affect me always!
So what do we do???
“Follow the ark… sometimes we can hang on to old, stale situations in life, simply because they are familiar to us, and we’re really just afraid of getting into uncharted territory. And then there are times we can sense something new ahead of us and we just want to step right into it, before it’s God’s time for us to do it.” -Joyce Meyer
Wait, pray, and allow God to show you each and every move… like a chess board, intricate time people have spent learning and crafting this game…
But they know where and how to make the best moves… so we listen, learn, breath it in and wait for God’s timing! He knows our hearts and what we need when we need it!
Be still…. he will make sure his timing is PERFECT and He can do perfection!
As we have accepted Christ as our savior, there is a light that we’re filled with so to speak, Holy Spirit! Others can see it, but generally if we’re in His word everyday, they can see who we really are… One of Gods children! But if we don’t and we’re self absorbed, people aren’t seeing much of anything that is Christ like! I pray I continue to seek God and show his light… there are times my husband and arent on the same page… especially when it comes to tithing… but I want to be obedient… while I may be obedient in that aspect, there are many others that I’m still not very well kept up on… so, work in progress, and repentance! Continue to break myself down to God and tell him how I am nothing compared to Him and without him I’m alone…. Gods light is contagious… if you see someone with that light, you feel compelled to want to be around it right!? I hope and pray to be that person to help lead others for Christa glory! What better what to spend your life and showing my kids this as well!
“Light represents the glory and salvation of God as it is expressed in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the exact representation of God, and he revealed God to a world sitting in darkness. Those who trust in Jesus are brought from the darkness of sin into God’s light — where there is joy, peace and hope forever.”
